The Petite Tender, is a small, lean cut from the chuck primal or the shoulder of the cow, which is the front leg of the animal. It’s a relatively rare steak to find in stores because it takes a butcher more time and skill to cut this tender and beefy steak. It’s a perfect size to feed two lighter eaters, or arguably to feed one person who doesn’t like to share!
The Petite Tender is the second most tender steak on any head of beef, coming close behind filet mignon.
From our Rare Heritage Red Devon Cattle, these ancient genetics and calm demeanor make the best 100% grass fed beef you have ever tasted!
