A leaf sap analysis test is performed monthly throughout the growing season to measure how the almond trees are doing nutritionally. The test allows us to adjust the minerals applied to the crop by fertigation in the irrigation water and spraying a foliar on the tree as well. Trees respond well when they are fed what they desire and the test gives the vision and understanding to do that.
Biology plays a vital role in allowing the tree to live in the soil in a productive way. Carbon is applied to the soil to feed biology, help the soil to detoxify and in conjunction with oxygen and hydrogen play a major role in the plants ability for nutritional uptake.
