Animal Husbandry
The buildup of adrenaline in high stress animals causes sour and tough meat. Our animals are treated with care and dignity, and socialized with humans so much that they mostly act like pets. This low stress environment creates the tastiest, tenderest meat you can find.

Regenerative Agriculture
Using Permaculture practices such as multi-species grazing, rotational grazing, native plant seeding, and a closed system with minimal inputs, our aim is to build organic matter in the soil, improve the grazing plant health, and thereby improve animal health and nutrition.

Heritage Breeds
Industrialized farming has created a severe lack of genetic diversity and one size fits all mentality. Heritage breeds need to be maintained for the health of the overall food system, and because each breed is best suited for a particular use and environment.

testimonials
Absolutely wonderful place for Fresh eggs and milk and cheeses and their meats are scrumptious… Highly recommend this beautiful Christian family
Seth and Stephanie were amazing hosts during our RV visit. Seth’s tour of the farm was very informative and made me think about the way we eat. Tried the T-Bone and Sirloin steaks for dinner. The Red Devon Beef was amazing! We highly recommend it. We also enjoyed Stephanie’s sourdough bread. We will definitely be taking food for the road along with us!

Rare Heritage Livestock
Animals on the endangered species list are generally wild animals. And usually they are there because of hunting, loss of habitat, or pollution. If we leave these animals alone, and they generally come back. Rare Heritage Livestock breeds (Endangered species of Livestock) only exist on farms and have to be fed, watered, moved and generally taken care of. Farms have to choose to raise a rare breed, and do their best to make it financially viable to do so.
If you as the consumer choose to buy from breeders of rare livestock, farms will grow, herds will expand, and collectively, we can get these breeds off the conservation list. That is what we call success! In the case of meat breeds, you literally have to eat them to save them!

Rotational Grazing focuses on soil health, the plant health, and the animal health. With a rotational grazing environment, we can manage our animals to improve the soil and vegetation. This will also have a great impact on the health of the livestock and indirectly, the consumers.
