Sweet Gemm Farm – Westminster, MD NPIP certified Hatchery. Offering 16 different breeds of heritage chicken, hatching eggs, chicks and table eggs. Some of their breeds include Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Dark and light Brahma’s, Turkens (Naked necks), Sapphire gem, and some of the more common breeds such as Rhode Island Reds, Golden Laced Wyandotte, Black Copper Marans. They also offer five different heritage breeds of turkey such as Royal Palm, Narragansett, and Grey Slate. This year they added Artisan Gold turkeys, emu, ducks, and the occasional goats. They offer small custom hatches from the above breeds, when available. They also grow a limited number of starter pullets of all the breeds they offer. Seasonally they will be offering fresh picked red and black raspberries, peaches, pears, and blueberries. Everything is raised, hatched, and grown there from animals to plants. They feed certified no GMO food and do not use antibiotics or pesticides. Vinson Girls Eggs – Certified NPIP #51-795 & avian influenza clean tested Hatchery.
Swedish flower hens, hatching eggs and chicks. All color options are possible with this current flock. Bantam show lines of Silkie & Cochin. Hatching eggs available starting back up in November as well as chicks. Currently have several bantam Cochin, Silkie, and Cochin/Silkie crosses in various ages and sexes from 8 weeks to 6 months available.
