🪚 Woodworking for Littles (Ages 6–8) 🌿

Introduce your child to the joy of hands-on creativity with Woodworking for Littles, a fun and educational 6-week class designed especially for young builders! This engaging farm-based workshop gives kids ages 6–8 the chance to safely explore real woodworking while connecting to the natural world around them.

Over this course of six weeks, children will complete three exciting, nature-inspired projects:

Birdhouse
Planter
Cutting or serving board

Each designed to teach basic woodworking skills, encourage creativity, and inspire curiosity about how things are made.

Every session blends STEM learning, nature education, and creativity in a supportive environment. Students will learn to use simple hand tools safely under close supervision while practicing essential skills like measuring, sanding, and assembling wooden pieces. Each project ties back to the natural world — from understanding how a birdhouse helps local wildlife, to learning how plants grow in their handmade planters, to discovering where our wood comes from and how we can use natural materials responsibly.

Alongside practical woodworking lessons, children will develop important life skills: patience, focus, teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence. There’s nothing quite like the pride of completing a project they can hold, use, or give as a gift — and every child will take home three finished creations that show off their hard work and imagination.

• Time: 9am – 10am

Sibling/Friend Discount: $25 off for each additional sibling or friend.

Full Class Discount: $15 off Everyones fee if 10 students sign up.  So tell a friend!

With both discounts you could only pay $110 for this class.
